Mobile App Design & Development

From a first sketch to a live app in the stores — designed to be used, built to last.

Discuss your project

A mobile app is not a smaller website. It lives in someone’s pocket, is opened dozens of times a day, and is judged in seconds. That means the design has to be effortless and the engineering has to be solid, because an app that is slow, confusing or unreliable is deleted and rarely reinstalled.

We handle the whole journey — the idea, the interface, the code, the launch and what comes after — so you are working with one team that owns the outcome rather than stitching together a designer, a developer and an agency who each blame the others.

What's included

The building blocks of a mobile app design & development engagement. Most projects use several; we scope the mix to what you actually need.

Product & UX design

Wireframes, user flows and a polished interface designed around how people will actually use the app, not how it looks in a pitch deck.

Native & cross-platform build

iOS and Android, built natively or with a shared cross-platform codebase where that is the better fit for your budget and timeline.

Backend & APIs

The server, database and integrations that make the app do something real — accounts, payments, live data, notifications.

Launch & support

Store submission, review handling, and post-launch fixes and updates. Getting into the stores is a process, and we run it.

How we approach it

01

Define the core

We find the one thing the app must do brilliantly, and design the first version around that rather than around a wish-list.

02

Design & prototype

A clickable prototype you can hold and test before a line of production code is written.

03

Build in stages

Delivered in working increments you can try, so the app is never a black box you only see at the end.

04

Release & iterate

Into the stores, then improved based on how real users behave once it is live.

Who it's for

Businesses turning a service into an app for the first time

Startups building a first product to test with real users

Companies replacing a clunky internal app staff avoid using

Common questions

Native or cross-platform — which do I need?

It depends on the app. Cross-platform (one codebase for both stores) is faster and cheaper and is right for most apps. Native is worth it when performance or deep device features are central. We recommend based on your app, not on what we prefer to build.

How long does an app take?

A focused first version typically takes a few months from start to store. We deliberately scope a lean first release, get it live, and build on it — rather than spending a year on features nobody has validated yet.

What happens after launch?

Apps need maintenance — operating systems update, stores change their rules, users report issues. We offer ongoing support so the app keeps working, and you are never left with code nobody can touch.
